FEZ - OUEZZANE - CHEFCHAOUEN

Early pick up in the morning from your accommodation in Fez by your professional and private driver, then head north to the blue city of Chefchaouen with a nice drive through the spectacular Rif Mountains. You'll include a couple of short breaks for taking pictures and for chilling out.

When you arrive in Chefchaouen, you may want to start exploring this beautifully-painted in the blue city turning it into one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The Utta el-Hammam, which is located in the heart of the Medina, forms the ideal point from which you can start your exploration of the city. Visit the dramatic Kasbah (Kasbah) that goes back to the 15th century being founded by Moulay Ali Ibn Rashid. They used the Kasbah as a base to fight against the Spanish & Portuguese invaders. The late Sultan Moulay Ismail used it as a residence in the 17th century, then as a prison during the Spanish occupation.

Meander around the beautiful streets that are painted in blue with its adorned doors and unique local culture. You'll see the ever-smiling children playing in the narrow streets, the local bakery or oven that still serves the local community. Enjoy exceptional stunning views in the Ras el-Ma spring where you can spot women wash clothes and carpets. You may want to have a soft hike up to the Mosque that was built by the Spaniards and where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Chefchaouen Medina.

In the late afternoon, you'll drive back to Fez and we will make sure to drop you off in your accommodation.
