DAY 1: TANGIER - ASILAH - RABAT (B.B)

Pick up from Tangier by your private English speaking driver and head to Rabat while including a short break in Asilah. This fortified and tranquil city was initially built by the Portuguese as a fortress and its ramparts still witness an era of political unrest. Each year, painters come from all over the world to leave artistic stamps on the Medina's walls to the extent that an annual festival of art is being organized for this reason.

You'll continue on the track to Rabat, home of the King and the royal family. The city was appointed as the Moroccan administrative capital since 1912. Your Rabat guided tour will begin from the dramatic Oudayas Kasbah that has a rich history dating back to the 11th century, meander around its streets while enjoying the stunning views it offers. The Kasbah (fortress) overlooks the city of Sale, the everflowing Bou Regreg River, and the Atlantic Ocean. Visit the old Medina, the Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Hassan II Tower, which is the landmark of Rabat. Visit the Mechouar (Royal Palace Gardens) before heading to your accommodation in Rabat.

DAY 2: RABAT - MEKNES - VOLUBILIS - FEZ (B.B)

After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad, you'll head to Meknes, which is known as the "Versailles of Morocco". It is one of the 4 Moroccan Imperial Cities and was built by the late Alaouite Sultan Moulay Ismail in the 17th century. Begin your expedition by the Bab (gate) Mansour, which is one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco and in the whole North of Africa with its geometric designs and Islamic Caligraphies. Visit the adjacent olive market, then the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum before driving through the High Walls of the Royal Palace to the Granaries and stables. It's in here wheat, barley used to be stored and where the 12.000 Royal Horses used to be looked after. In the evening, you drive to Fez through the high-way.

After lunch, you'll continue on the track to the Roman Ruins of Volubilis before heading to Fez that marks the end of today's expedition.

DAY 3: FULL-DAY GUIDED TOUR OF FEZ (B.B)

After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad, your private tour guide will pick you up for a lifetime experience of this Medieval city of Fez. Fez is listed by UNESCO as World Heritage Site and it's the largest car-free district worldwide. Enjoy the panoramic views of the Fez el-Bali (oldest Fez) atop the hill while learning about the rich history of the city and the attractions you'll be covering during your tour around Fez. Visit the Royal Palace where you can take pictures by its golden gates, then have a walk within the vibrant Mellah (former Jewish Quarter).

Have a guided walking tour within the intricate alleyways of the Fez Medina. You'll visit the Chouara Tanneries where the best quality of the leather is being made while using traditional methods. Visit the Fondouks, the Souks that are divided into sections based on the specialty, pass by the Koranic schools including the famous Al-Quarawyyine University, which is the oldest university in the world.

DAY 4: FEZ - CHEFCHAOUEN (B.B)

Today, you'll head north to Chefchaouen (the blue city). Have a nice drive through the spectacular Rif Mountains while including short breaks for taking pictures and for chilling out. Once you arrive in Chefchaouen, you'll be escorted to your accommodation before exploring the blue city from the Utta el-Hammam Square, which is located in the heart of the Medina. You may include a visit to the noticeable Kasbah that was built by Moulay Ali Ibn Rashid to fight against the Spanish and the Portuguese in the 15th century. Meander around the beautiful alleys to the Ras el-Ma spring that offers stunning views. You may want to have a soft hike up to get the complete panoramic view of the city before getting back to the square where you can enjoy a refreshing mint tea while watching the passers-by.

DAY 5: CHEFCHAOUEN - TANGIER

After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad, you will continue on the track driving back to Tangier where you can have a guided tour of the city. You'll drive through the Ville Nouvelle to the promontory Cap Spartel that offers stunning views. You may want to experience the camel ride by the sandy beach of the Atlantic Ocean, then visit the Hercules Caves that go back to the Neolithic Era. Head to the Kasbah district where you can have a guided walking tour, the to the vibrant Medina with its bustling Souks including the Petit and Grand Soccos...You'll end up your tour either in the port of Tangier where you can get your ferry back to Spain or to be dropped off at the location of your choice...
